In 2023, Bedford business owner Derek Stutz acquired Johnny’s Signs, ushering in a new era for this historic company. Johnny’s Signs had enjoyed a family tradition of 3 generations with the Fiddler family, who will always be a part of, and be recognized for their incredible contributions to the company.
Derek, a long-time Johnny’s Signs customer, relied on the team for fleet vehicle graphics and multiple building signage projects in his previous business. Knowing firsthand the craftsmanship and customer service behind the name, he recognized Johnny’s Signs as both a local trademark and a piece of Bedford’s history — and jumped at the chance to continue its legacy.
Since the acquisition, we’ve been investing in building upgrades, state-of-the-art sign production equipment, a comprehensive marketing plan, and continuing to work on our internal operations, all to better serve our customers across Southern Indiana. Most importantly, we’ve been focused on strengthening the backbone of the company — our people. From graphic designers to sign installers, every team member plays a vital role in creating the custom sign solutions our clients rely on.
